Hey guys just thought i'd upload the dev_flash and core_os files from the new PS3 4.0 firmware for all interested .

Doesn't seem like many changes but the major one for me as a themer is that they have changed the limitations some what on the raf.sprx and paf_psjs.sprx modules so you can only have 90 actors instead of 128

Sony proving once again that they are in control if you want the best out of the PS3.

Indeed, just using the 360 beta dashboard makes the XMB a joke (although I still love the XMB!). This is 4.0, in almost 2012...why the hell haven't they updated significantly the internet browser just as an example? I don't even go near that thing but I'd like to and I know Sony could make a very good one to utilize the PS3's power...but they don't because they're Sony.

Sony does not care about their customers, they only care about their investors, and somehow Sony does not seem to understand that caring about their investors for most other companies does incorporate looking after the customers...

He make some progress

Just extract the files is hard enough

He is decrypted 50% of files

For that reason i create the new thread,PS3 OFW 4.00 Decrypted for 50%
