Previously, I was on kmeaw and I loved it. You can't go wrong with kmeaw 3.55 but I wanted the extra features so I switched to rebug and I'm loving it

P.S. They're both great firmwares

Thanks to everyone for their input and suggestions!

Indeed there are some pros & cons between both CFW and I'm sure as this topic has shown some leaning one way more than the another.

Again, thanks for the feedback and please keep them coming as itching to put one in tonight!

PEACE
Kosti

If you're skeptical, try Kmeaw and then you can always switch to Rebug afterwards.

Rebug is great, but you can't go wrong with Kmeaw.

You can check the PUP to make sure you have the correct one and that it's not corrupt by running an MD5 generator on them and match what's generated to the digits below.

You can use a program like the one here : http://www.winmd5.com/

OFW 3.55 Sony md5: ca595ad9f3af8f1491d9c9b6921a8c61
CFW 3.55 kmeaw md5: 2be5e87a22bf1e7f48e98fcabd38977b
CFW 3.55.2 Rebug md5: 9f300f02a08ec16a91a17b5add399885

If you have never been on psn you will eventually want to go to rebug. I had similar concerns, went to kmeaw as it seemed straight forward(easy). Eventually found i needed rebug just because I had never been on psn. Also just because it has more options doesn't mean you have to use them. Ultimately you gotta decide for yourself, but I'd say go with rebug and save some time. Side note; kmeaw is noob friendly, and I had no issues while using either of them

Yep, have checked all MD5 for the PS3 files, normally i never check authenticity or for corruptions on most stuff I dnwld, however since i was flashing the PS3 it made total sense to check these files
