ingame screenshots

Hello to all! I have a question. Pardon me if I'm asking in a wrong thread.

Is it possible to take screenshots of a game with multiMAN or OTHER homebrew software? Not just list of games installed in the multiMAN menu but in a regular PS3 game running.

I'm not familiar with PS3 system architecture and I'm new to all of these hack things, but something telling me it's possible, even if it is not implemented yet... It might be just another "payload" (resident background program) that registers hotkeys and saves images to specified path, no interface needed (some cfg.ini for config will do).

It is a very useful feature IMO, what do you think, guys?

You can take screenshots, only from games/programs, started with the "Direct Launch" option in multiMAN. Otherwise - you can't.

I just wanted to say to deank thank you very much for all you have done here! I faithfully use ONLY your manager and it is hands down the best there is period! For those who are quick to assume that deank has "abandoned" this project, and are quick to trash him, you should wait until you hear from the man himself! Even if he did decide to go the Cobra USB route and get paid for his work, who could really blame him? He has given so much FREE TIME AND EFFORT to this manager to take care of us. Personally, I don't think he had ANYTHING to do with this and he will be back here giving us FREE updates. Check this out---->http://tortuga-cove.com/ps3/1189-exc...iman-and-cobra So, please just be patient and wait to see what happens. One thing I do know is that trashing him won't make him want to come back any faster!! Thanks again!!

Deank, if TB gets fully reverse engineered, would you implement its functions into Multiman? Would it be possible?

Hi Dean glade to see you are still around.
Well I know you really need a break, But when your up to it. I would like to see a easy way of setting up the lastgamemod. I thank the best way to do this is by adding it to ebootfix.exe. Just a exe for the pc to make a package when the eboot.bin file is draged to the exe. The Package would be just like the lastgame.bin file with the new location. However some games only work it the location is not the same as the game id. Simple fix is to change the B as in BLUS3000 to XLUS3000. In multiman like the shadow package dose, But change the location from a X to B of corse. And you don't need to add the G folder shadow package. And just make a simple change to the sfo file to change the XLUS3000 to BLUS3000. If might help to make a simple one that add just the change to the sfo, And one that add shortcut for all the file like trophdir and usrdir. How ever some games can only be mounted. So maybe a question on the exe file to ask for a mount package or a direct boot package. I hope this all make sence and you give it a shot. Thanks again.

I have a quick question, where does multiMAN store it's pre-processed game data cache? I.e. when you start a game it tells you the game needs pre-processed data and it stores that data somewhere.
