Look, computers have 2 sides, the fun side (Gaming) and the control side (Big Brother). I don't like the Big Brother side of the story, and only with a magnetic storm this Big Brother side can be killed. Bad part of this is the fun side will be killed also

Sure I can play Don Quixote and fight windmills.... I can go outside and kill every camera that controls the speed I drive in my car, kill every camera in the shopping center, kill every camera that does face recognition in banks etc., I can hack into the systems and delete my name from every database that exists and so on and so on....

But it won't change the changed mentality. Back in the 70's the mentality was "one for all, all for one", this has changed to "one controls all, all doesn't control one". We are only slaves to the system now...

I really can't say this is good news, aside from the fact that someone is trying. However with Congress pushing out world wide treaties to help ban jail-breaking, (even in Canada where it's still possible until Bill C-32 clone passes); I really don't see a good out look for this until there is a political change. Perhaps that will happen after the election, but until then this will be taking a back seat in the priority list of even getting looked at, let alone being considered.
