sorry i did not see your post. are you trying to install the spoof on the rebug?
if so no need. it comes pree spoofed. after you install the latest update then you just need to set your ps3 in debug mode and then check you system settings and it will be on 4.00

i had the spoof installed while i had kmeaw but i didnt uninstall it when i swiched, (i did even think about untill i installed to 3.55 ofw and went to check if it worked and it said system menu 3.72 and i panicked for a second then i realised what i had done lol), then i installed 3.55 rebug but when i went to update to that it said 3.55 kmeaw?? do you think i should just run through it all again??

yes i would. i would start with ofw. also what pkg are you trying to install that it kicks you back to the xmb?

is this the latest update? have you tried going to recovery menu and rebuild your database?

yes i got the files from rebug today, and no i havnt tried that yet, how would i do that mate

@itskamel i think i mees up and rushed i didnt do this bit
First you need to install the REBUG selector. Go to package manager/install package files/ps3 hard disk
and install the rebug selector.

and ive not got the package manager just the standard one so ill install that and try again mate

I've just popped out mate so im on my phone but im back on rebug and my games load from multiman but the selector isn't there when i go into package manager after installing rebug
