well you have to install the selector. go to pkg manager/ hdd pkgs and then you will see rebug selector 1.5 and 1.6 install 1.6


after that is installed it will be a icon in you games catagory called cex/dex

That's my problem mate it ain't there i think ill redownload the rebug package in the morning and try again. Should it say 3.55 rebug when you update or does it say 3.55 kmeaw????

the firmware or the pkg ? im not following what your saying about kmeaw. sorry please explain.

When i go to update to rebug i click system update from the xmb and the i choose to update from external storage then it says it found 3.55 kmeaw not 3.55 rebug

sounds like you still have kmeaw on your usb stick. did you download the rebug 3.55.2 pup from http://rebug.me and rename it ?

Yeah i downloaded it then extracted it and used the link from the rar file to get the rebug update but ill download it again in the morning just to be sure i didst screw anything up mate

you will have to rename the rebug pup to ps3updat.pup

also when you boot up the ps3 does it say rebug?

I renamed it and no it boot like normal. I'm thinking I've messed the update file up some how, no idea how as I've only got the ofw and rebug on my comp but its gotta be that so ill start fresh in the morning and redownload it all and see if that works mate

@itskamel ok mate it gets weird now i redownloaded all file and even the ofw from this site installs kmeaw so i put the files on a different thumb drive and all is working fine??? but im 100% sure that the kmeaw update pup was deleted and i only put one pup on it at a time, but at least its working now lol

edit: all installed and working great mate
