Hi all.

1st, thx for visiting and reading this. I just bought a brand new ps3 3.66 at frys yesterday, and then bs i figured it out that it was unable to jailbreak nor downgrade. BANG

so I searched for another one in craigslist and just picked up a brand new 2.85. I need a recommend here, should I update to 3.55 and jailbreak it or just wait for anything else ? thx

if it was me id go up to 3.55 ofw then pick your cfw and update to it and get it set up and going for all your cfw needs

also what else are you waiting for, if you go to 3.55 cfw and anything new comes out youll be able to update to it. also on 3.55 if needed you could always downgrade to 3.41 by qa flag although i dont see any point to be 3.41 as 3.55 has everything youll need.

thx jp<cfc , downloading ofm 3.55 . what cfm u r using ? Kmeaw ?i see many choices out there but read that Kmeaw is best.

depends on what you want out of it, im useing kmeaw its noob friendly tho some people like rubug but as i dont use all the settings i dont see the need for it so ive just stuck with kmeaw and havent had a probelm once

if all you want is back ups and homebrew id say kmeaw is ok for you untill your used to the hacking scene and had time to reveiw and get used to things then think of going to rebug and missing with the settings.

Yeah like jp said Kmeaw is noob safe and rebug is for more advance people.

Kmeaw has all you need for installing homebrew ie showtime, multiman etc

I have never tried rebug but from what i have read that added features are not for the faint hearted lol.

lol sorry itskamel im a bit drunk, i always direct everybody looking cfw to your tuts as i think they are noob friendly and come in handy time to time. forgot all about them lol

yeah thx itskamel I'm reading that guide and following it. ^^ updating to ofm 3.55 , woot . can't wait to have my ps3 jailbroken ^^

i enjoy my hacked ps3 so much i couldnt update it to play mw3, so had to go buy a second one. made the miss go nuts lol

i thought there are fixes for it already. and yeah , i have 2 ps3 now too lol
