A little progskeet help :)
Ok so I'm almost finished soldering all the wires to my progskeet (from the mobo)... But i'm unsure of one of the instructions...
WP#/ACC tied to Vcc BYTE# tied to Vcc Can someone please explain the step above?... I don't see WP#/ACC or BYTE# anywhere on the diagram.. Btw my mobo revision is JSD-001.. Also i have the v1.1 crystal blue progskeet... is removing R8 still necessary? Any helps appreciated... |

ignore the WP#/ACC tied to Vcc BYTE# tied to Vcc r8 needs to be removed if you have a 3.3v from the ps3 soldered to 3.3v on the skeet (your case nor vcc to the 3.3v on the skeet) r8 is used to power the skeet over usb if you remove it and have 3.3v soldered the skeet will be powered when you boot the ps3 btw remove r7 place a switch set the switch to off boot the ps3 after 10 seconds close the r7 switch this way the ps3 is halted and you can dump the flash if you have more questions please come to irc we have some nice people there and im most of the time on it too Server: EFNET Channel: #progskeet-support http://chat.efnet.org:9090/ Under the 'Connect to EFnet IRC": Enter a nickname. (Mine would be jhax78) Enter a channel name. (ProgSkeet support would be #progskeet-support) The chatroom will then load up - and you'll be able to chat with us! oh and please dont use some outdated tutorial that only tells you to verify the filesize as there where already 4 people that flashed their ps3 with a bad flash
resulting in a brick beyond repair jhax |
