I have the same setup as VIRGIN KLM, only a 2k, and was wondering the same type questions.

Make sure to confirm your PSP2K is a full-hackable prior to going near any full CFW or CIPL.
@kipabc123 I probably will. I had a large amount of info written up already. I will mostly need to mash them together. |

I am also available to answer any questions that are related to the PSP CFW. I mainly use PRO's CFW, well because its PRO. Although we do each have our own opinions on which is the best CFW around there right. Currently using 6.60 PRO-B10 CFW on PSP 2000

Sorry about my inactivity, I've been busy with stuff in my life, and have had to focus on that for a bit.
Post 1 updated with newer info, which should be more detailed and more accurate. 2 sections will be added in shortly: Downgrading your PSP, as well as the use of plugins and the VSH menu.

Hi Kipabc123,
I have a psp by my friend. It was hacked but his son updated to version (system software version, i hope it is right what i found) 6.60. The model of the psp is 1004. Can I use your manual to hack it? |

Yeah this TUT will work.
What firmware was it on before? What CFW do you want? Since you have a 1k PSP...follow this video since you can downgrade to whatever OFW or CFW you want. [Tutorial] *NO PANDORA* Downgrade to 5.00m33-6 from 6.60 (1000/2000) - YouTube
