Switzerland has no this kind of problems, the government says : downloading any content from the internet it's totally legal because the same users spend their money on the movies or concerts or whatever. we should think a bit like this, we might "Do piracy" but the money we save on it we spend it on other things that supports the devs. EX: on my ps2 when I used to buy a piracy dvd and if I really liked the game I bought it original, sadly I can't do this on ps3 due the firmware thingy.

Geez. Why does everyone think that just because it's named 4.0 instead of 3.80 or something that it's a completely different firmware that will be much harder to hack than the previous ones?

4.0 is as different from 3.73 as 3.73 is from 3.70. The only reason they used labelled it 4.00 is for marketing purposes (vita).
Any exploit presdent in 3.73 will work in 4.00 unless the method has been released and Sony patched it. Since TB is keeping their exploit secret, obviously it will work on 4.0 if it works on 3.73.

What I wouldn't be surprised however is if they made a JB3 dongle for 4.0+ games so that TB owners will have to buy yet another dongle

I completely agree. I still don't get why no one ever replies when such a comment is made. Yes the TB is destroying the scene's "freedom", but I don't see the scene doing anything better. Everyday someone comes out of no where and says they have a solution, but it all ends up a fake. At least the TB team came out of no where and gave us a REAL solution, instead of one which is fake. Even though the TB dongle is costly, it still gives us what over 70% of the scene wants, the ability to play 3.60+ games. This is why people are buying it.

Aside from all of that, I am not buying this. I am only to wait for a free and open source solution. But, that gives me, and all of us no right to say that this team has not helped on us progress. In a way, they have. With their costly solution, we can get a free and safe solution. Lucky for us, there was solution to start with, or else we wouldn't have a free solution.

not really mate... if they change the keys the method is the same to get them... it will be the same... in fact we don't even know in what keys true blue relies on... still whatever they do, a simple donlge firmware update will solve it i guess

ahh... poor TB users for that,while they will not be able to play 4X games (as u say) free CFW users like us are not even able to play 3.60 games (except for few mistakes made by company in past)

As i remember GaryOPA said they have *key* information for future game releases, if some of u remember first list of TB games had some games that are not released yet as Silent Hill Downpour ect ect. if that is true then we all know what that mean

And even know some people still claim they useing debug eboots just because it is FSELF bla bla and it says so on ps3wiki (there is no proof yet if they useing debug eboot or not)

Don't get me wrong i don't hate or love TB dongle,but at least users (Pirates) have chance to play new games and we all can thank our beloved ps3 devs for creating TB in the first place

anyone who is saying they will be making new dongle every 6 months still wats the problem 20-25 games per 60$ thats about 1000-1500$ for 60$ cant you do simple math??? its ok to spend that much money guys dont be such cheap bastards and the devs you saying might be secretly involved in this project you never know they might be tired to constant work without money and now they need something in return as only few people really donate money so there are two options wait for new CFW for 2 months or get yourself a TB if you dont wanna waste your money
