Lol to bad you don't know what you are talking about. Lv0.2 is for the new hardware revisions. Lv2 still does exist. From what I know lv0.2 doesn't even effect consoles with the older bootldr. Just the ones with the hardware revisions and new bootldr. Too be honest I have seen your some of your postings and see no reason for them to be even posted. If it gives you kicks to be pessimist then by all means continue, but at least be knowledgeable while doing it. Just sit back and wait; if these new "devs" (and I use the term loosely because I have no clue who they are and if they are really devs) release something then great, if not nothing is lost. I don't know why you need to push your views onto these other people want to show support. Just like the iron law of accruals, these people will expose themselves; no need to do it for them.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Albert Einstein never completed college and look what he has accomplished. I'm not saying that this is real or fake. But what's the worst that could happen? I agree with loller but forgive me if I'm wrong but don't we have like four people working on the Lvl2? and doesn't that lvl have really no access to lvl0 and mtldr where the keys we need are?

Hmm I'm guessing you mean lv2_kernel....still exists as the only things that are lv2(in name) is the lv2ldr and lv2kernel.

Well there might be people working on it (iuno), but that's the point I was confused at with PsDev's method. I was saying the same thing you said but he claimed to be able to decrypt lv0, so I was like huh...WTF/how!!! lol

Every console whit a 3.60+ fw's on there have same lvl 0 whit same loader inside him, whit same function.

Atm math didnt proved that he have a decrypted lvl 0, he's just talking, but no physical proof yet.

What really gets me is this.....wasn't jailbreaking a consumer device intended to free a user from constrictions set by the manufacturer ? Since when has this whole ps3 scene became about police-ing what the user does by the jailbreakers themselves ? So the reality of the situation is this, people have traded in Sony for devs like Math in telling them what they cant do, there is no difference.

Im sure people will say "oh but the piracy" the simple fact is it will not stop piracy it just opens doors for people like TB to monetize the situation. All it would take is 1 Dev who actually remembers what jailbreaking is all about and give us PS3 users the freedom to do wtf we want with our consoles.

You've 3.55 cfw ( usb key softmod= 0$), u've a 4.00 softmod on poc for homebrew ( again 0$), you've a very good hardware like progskeet sold for about 40$ ( now it's solderless also for nor) and you forget also that isnt forbidden to update and stay at ofw.....
So explain me what you need more, and even if you really need something are this the manners for ask it?
