im not sure if it makes sense to translate games or applications, cuz everyone in germany should know what games are. and applications would be better translated for noobs, but then they might have a problem when surfing the internet cuz everyone will talk about "applications" there.

and for the languages at top, i wasnt sure if you were looking for german or english

I hoped that people understood by themselves to change English with the French/German translation of the name of the language they are going to translate it. anyway thanks!! I really appreciate that.

I would say

(Would be "Download Finished" in english - looks more >pro< xD)

Also, you write "schließe" (with this thingy looking like a "B")

1. Select: i thought he means the button on the controller, it would then be better to say "Select".
for a translation on "selecting this or that" then i would agree to say "auswählen".


2. I would not translate media or theme, because its already common to use these words in german. "Thema" would rather mean "topic" than the real meaning of "theme" i'd say.


3. "Download abgeschlossen" is fine aswell.

Yeah. Depends on what he needs/means.
If you just want to name the buttons on the controller (like "Press Select do show thisandthat"): they're international:

Start - Select - PS-Button (or, in AUT-GER-CH it would be "PS-Knopf")

You can find it almost everywhere on A-G-C devices that they say "Thema auswählen" or "Medien"
In my translation I was relying on the "official translation", just like you would find it on every device running on german.
