Sony deserves to go down in the next generation of consoles and touch bottom, fire Kazou Hirai and bring back Ken Kutaragi to put things in order once again, back to the roots and a fresh new start.

Playstation was something amazing back in the days, until April 1st, 2010. From then on, it was like a dying puppy, sad to remember what happened and angry about unable to do anything to solve it.

Mark my words, Sony will fall way behind in the next console war, and earn their doom in the industry for all this non-customer-care decisions.

We can only hope...I honestly don't have that much faith in the average gamer anymore, and (sadly) would not be amazed to see Sony doing well just for the free PSN access.

Heck, there are actually still Sony fanboys if you can believe that...not just people who think the PS3 is a better overall option mind you, but people who actually like Sony!!!

Indeed, you are absolutely right. Sony fanboys are going to support it without hesitate. The PS3 started pretty well in this console war (the Wii is not a 7th gen console and the 360 was release a year before) but Sony started to take this stupid decisions and then, all Hell breaks loose.

For now, PSN is free at some point, you can notice that most of the upgrades come for the PSN+ users, while the rest suffer from bad developed updates that brick PS3s.

The PSVita will stall until someone releases some kind of third-party memory or adapter, or there is a chance to develope some kind of hack/mod/cfw/whatever that enables the user to use the internal memory instead of the propietary one (I'm thinking that it may be possible to use the Vita Game Card too, since they are not read-only flash memories).

Let's hope for the best, and a PSVita scene with great and non-selfish devs.

i never thought i say this but i bought a 3ds today,
so sony is not getting my money and guess what it uses a normal
sd card and its good the 3d is perfect but dash could be better and
the games on the store could be better but the cartridge games are amazing

and now sony are saying your profile is locked to your mem card so you can swap profiles have mulitple cards linked to one profile take your profile and games on mem card to your friends but one of the problems is they droped the 5 game share to 2 so you can only use it on one friends vita anyway so its just a waste of time it gets worse and worse

lol, intellectual property is too complex and complicated under sony that users suffer as a result, i understand limiting game sharing but locking saved progress, thats is the reason why i dont take ps3 or psp gaming seriously since i dont have the tools or the permission to backup the time spent playing it, online gaming isnt an excuse, at lease they could offer offline saves unlocked.

and this is different from the Sony Memory Sticks they put in most of thier systems that were "proprietary" and different from SD cards.

Hmmm PSP has Sony Memory Stick-- a proprietary format
they had UMD, another proprietary format

Some games back on PS2 wouldnt let you start a game unless you had a memory card and enough blocks free..hmm proprietary format yet again?


Sooner or later, you will get one and not even think about it. oops, i filled my card up, time to get a bigger one...etc. its just saving the consumer headache for patches/dlc/saves.
