Hello, I have bought a PS3 from friend and he said that when he was buying it sellers told him they can hack PS3 so it will be able to launch backups. We have no idea about PS3 topic srsly, so, he paid 50 euro for that but as I can see this PS3 has 3.60 FW, is it possible that they 'downgraded' this PS3 but it still says that patch is 3.60 but it is 3.55 atm and I can install CFW? Or he just lies?

do you see this in the game section?


if so, it is spoofed and fine. if not then you need hardware to downgrade

I heard that if someone will downgrade PS3 for me, I won't be able to use TB Dongle or normal CFWs like Kmeaw's one, is it true? And one more question, if I won't be able to use these, but there will come a CFW for 3.56+ [my PS3 is at 3.60 atm but it's data code is 0D so it's downgradable] will I be able to install it or I will still need CFW from this E3 Flasher team?

you need hardware to downgrade. once downgraded you will be able to use it the same as any 3.55 ps3

this is the sort of journey you should be aware of making

I've searched the whole google for some1 in my country who's downgrading PS3, I've found 3 ppl and they are doing it by E3 Flashers, so I have to repeat my question:

Is you ps3 a fat model? if so E3 flasher cant downgrade it because it will be 256MB NAND Chip, e3 only downgrades NOR Chips.
If you have a NAND chip you need progskeet.

u have to use the specail cfw , u cant use rebug etc .

What if after downgrade [E3 Flasher] I will update my console to 3.73 in example coz 3.73 CFW will come [if a miracle will happen], will I be able to use it or I will have to wait for special CFW from them?
