And YES, that's my point! RealPsDev hasn't released anything yet, and people already claim he's fake.

I know indeed that he released some lines of code or something that sound to a few devs "fake" or just false.
But I think we should just wait until he releases something, and "judge" his work as a whole, and not piece by piece.

yeah they will be , but if it comesdown to it they have 2 get another ps3 lol i dont care if and when a new cfw comes out as ive got both worlds but i love seeing the scene adavance

I'm not sure if he's fake or severely deluded, but the guy has absolutely no idea what he's talking about — that much is certain. I'll admit, I was hysterical with laughter reading his tweets that were trying to explain binary and ASCII to KaKaRoTo. KaKaRoTo's response:

The guy tries hard, and I do believe he can probably write a little C/C++, but I'm far from convinced he knows what he's doing.

I'm not trying to be a troll or anything, just being realistic. I work in software development and generally you don't see real software developers saying the most trivial things to try and sound smart. It seems like RealPsDev's tweets are just a show for the non-technically minded.

I don't know either. I think a thread has already been closed because he's fake (I think!).
I'm no developer. I have no idea how ANY of those program-languages work. So I can't tell if anybody seems to be fake or not. I just follow, until somebody I CAN TRUST (!) and knows what he's talking about says he's fake or not.

But since I'm so interested in this stuff, I'm going to try to learn some JAVA for the beginning. xD

Then tell me again that this guy does not know what he is doing at least with C/C++ and other coding languages. Whether he can do something like getting the PS3 keys though, I do not know.

The point is, PsDev DID NOT experiment with the method he released to get lv0 and the other stuff. He just basically said that it might be a way to get at them and that he hasn't tried it.

I was going to touch on this application in my last post, but I thought that would have come across as even more trolly. You don't need to know any C/C++ to create a Visual Studio template. You can run commands using MSBuild tasks that you specify in an XML file. Granted, you can write custom MSBuild tasks with .NET, usually in C# or VB.NET.

Secondly, That is his only scene release and it's not actually a homebrew app designed to run on the PS3, so he's shown no expertise in writing code for the PS3.

Finally, a small amount of C/C++ knowledge does not equate to any amount of reverse engineering skills.

Yes, we can all cook up theories on how something could be done. Let me put it this way — you have absolutely no idea of who I am and what I've done in the past. I mentioned in the last post that I'm a software developer. I can also tell you that I've written my own Visual Studio template before, along with several custom MSBuild tasks for internal use at the company I work for. Now, supposing I tweet with "I *think* I may know how to get peek & poke in 4.0". How likely are you to believe that? If the answer is not very, what's the difference between me and RealPsDev?

Perhaps I should change my name to McPsDev and try it?

more like he found a file and he cant decrypt he wants someone do it so he can pass it off as his own work lol
