Was using multiman to rip a few games I got from a buddy. Havn't used it in awhile because I havnt been playing alot of games lately and I know this goes without saying but...Multiman Rocks! Best manager out there. Dont care if you dont release a new version you've done a ton for the ps3 scene Dean.

Hello everyone. I have a problem with Multiman. After re-installing cmeaw3.55, any game I try to run from multiman freezes. Black screen. Sometimes it loads to XMNB, and wehn I try to start, at the loading screen I get "please wait" and just hangs. I`.ve tried "fix permissions" adn re-installed BDemu...any thoughts? Please help.

Have you tried that fix permissions pkg? And when you say BDemu i assume you are referring to BDEMU2.
Are you trying to run the games from internal or external? Do you have the BD-ROM Emulator set to Hermes and the option Verify USB Games option set to Always or Auto?
Does the game need + 3.55 fw? Is there an EBOOT fix for it?

Yes, I have tried fixing the permissions with the tool from the thread....And Yes, I was reff to BDEMU2. Running from internal. Any game I try to play from multiman crashes. Just tried with Rogero v8.5 Solar edition, same thing, crash. But If I install DUPLEX games(games that install via Pkg), they work flawless. I`ve got uncharted 3 trying to run it from multiman(with latest fix) and nothing.. tried everything. tried Mafia 2, Singularity, Grid, Shift II, etc.....Im` not sure where to look for these " the BD-ROM Emulator set to Hermes and the option Verify USB Games option set to Always or Auto?"

This sounds crazy but are you sure it was kmeaw 3.55. Also why did you need to put kmeaw 3.55 back on your ps3.

To check/change those options make sure you have the latest multiMAN installed, start multiMAN and then go to the Settings column and press and select Advanced Settings that way you'll have more options available. Then, still on the Settings column scroll down to the very last option under that column, you'll find the BD-ROM Emulator option, set it to Hermes and then scroll up until you find the Verify USB Games option and set it to Enable or Auto. You'll now have to restart your console so that multiMAN can use the Hermes payload. Try to start the games again

Also, make sure that you have the correct folder structure, you should put your games on the GAMES folder inside dev_hdd0, the correct structure is as follows:

/dev_hdd0/GAMES/Game Name or ID Folder/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/EBOOT.BIN

if you have something like this:

/dev_hdd0/GAMES/Game Name or ID Folder/Another Folder/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/EBOOT.BIN then you have one folder too many, the one in red, delete that one

Hi there..For "Royusm" - I had PS3addict cmeaw installed....everything worked ok...Installed cmeaw after(A friend told me it was better) everything was ok.. I installed Mafia 2 and I got trophy error. After trying to fix the error with no luck, decided to reinstall cmeaw. Nothing worked after. installed PS3Addict cfw, still nothing. As I said, the PKG games work flawless. Tried today with Rogero. This boots me to XMNB when I load, but hangs on first screen.
For "kgb_" : the path to the games is correct. Didn`t have the chance to check the bd-rom emulator. Will come back after....Thanks in advance guy for doing u`re best.

P.S. - Just spoke with someone and he suggested that what I need to to in order to fix my problem is: take out my PS3`s HDD and conect it to my PC and format it NTFS. After install OFW and CFW the usual way. Can this be a fix?. Will try tomorrow and come back. But maybe someone knows already. THX

Ok if you did not downgrade your ps3 from a higher verion, then I would re-install ofw 3.55. Then install kmeaws 3.55 on top of that. Hope it helps.

I don't know if this is the thread but this is simple if somebody has experienced this. I have been dealing with this & it is driving me nutz-> Every time i play with multiman with my backups it seems every other game or what ever game i play. After 1st 3rd games it don't matter it is random. My ( PS3_GAME ) folder keeps ending up outside of my GAMEZ or GAMES on my externals ? I have to disconnect my external ,to move to move the PS3_GAME folder back every time with my PC. Even file managers wont move it back. When i play same game from internal this obviously does not happen. It happened a few times ,now this is like a everyday thing ? Also if anybody has experiences this ,i have games on my internal & i was thinking to delete multiMAN & install fresh.

So i thought if i created a temp folder & dropped my internal GAMES in this folder.Then created another GAMES folder then delete multiMAN this should prevent my internal games from getting deleted. I don't want to delete my internal games when i delete multiMAN as if i delete it without moving my internal games folder, i believe it will delete all my internal games..
