Hello, I have just recently bought my PS3. I got it along with Just Cause 2. The PS3 had 3.15 FW inside, so I upgraded it to 3.55 kmaew. I went to play Just Cause 2, It said, there is newer version (update?) to the game and if I would like to install it. I did the update to the game, it launched, i started a campaign. I watched the first video and then It stuck on loading ... I restarted my PS3, took the game out and put it in again but after that It doesnt want to read any games, dvds ... anything ...

Can you please help me to find out where is the problem ? Do I need to upgrade to the highest firmware, which will make me unable to play games from hacked FW or anything in blu-ray drive died ?

Bluray is dead or almost dead, im in same boat except i've got 2 ps3s with 2 broken bluray drives both broke in the same week.. what are the odds :/

Either buy a new bluray drive, the one made for your ps3 model or buy a new deck and lens and fix it yourself, there are youtube vids on how to do it.
Ive bought 2 of the repair kits, should be here next week

So is it enough to buy new lens and just get them there ?
