USB ports not working

my USB ports do not work.
have check all the cable and make sure they are connected between the motherboard and the wifi board(uwb-001).
i also buy a new wifi board to replace it and it still not working.
i assume they must be the problem from the motherboard side.
the motherboard seem like do not power the wifi board.
and i have try to check whether they is any crack on the motherboard that not allow it power the board but it seem like nothing wrong on it.

i try to attach a pic of the mb, see if u can find any problem on it.
thanks.

Have you taken it apart and put back together then the fault happened?

I had the same problem with one I got off ebay and it ended up being that someone has put it back together and put a long screw back in the wrong place cutting two tracks on the mother board.

Is it a 60gb with the cardreader?

Can you post a pic of the full board?

The usb ports I don't think are linked to the wifi board.

Yeah I did look at the pic you posted.

Is it a slim system or Phat? All the ones I have looked at the usb ports are built in to the main motherboard but they have only been phat systems.

Did they just stop working or after it had been taken apart?

Just goolged the uwb-001 code and seen the usb ports part of the wifi board. Doubt it is the same problem I had.

Sorry I cannot help you.

Have you tried replacing the cable that connects the wifi board to the motherboard?

Buy a new motherboard, they are £74 and you get a paired logic board with it.
