So i thought if i created a temp folder & dropped my internal GAMES in this folder. Then created another GAMES folder then delete multiMAN this should prevent my internal games from getting deleted. I don't want to delete my internal games when i delete multiMAN as if i delete it without moving my internal games folder, i believe it will delete all my internal games..
you lack the basics,, you need to read the USER GUIDE: multiMAN beginner's guide - GBAtemp.net
- moving the PS3_GAME folder is to use the BD Mirror...the folder will be repositioned in its place the next time you start multiMAN
- if you delete multiMAN are not deleted even games of Internal HDD...but if there are big files in the "game_cache" folder, these will be deleted

see the user guide, because you need it

Ok I thank you in game setting on the ext games are using the BD Mirror option which moves that folder to the root of the hard drive so the ps3 thanks the usb drive is the bd drive. It should move it back the next time you start multiman. However you say your game folder is named GAMEZ and multiman works best with the GAMES folder named GAMES. Most games do not need that option selected so just unselected it. And Rename the GAMEZ folder to GAMES on the ext hard drive. I hope this helps.

I have copyed a BD Movie using multiman and it worked. However I thank for BD Movies it only works if the BD Movie is put in the ps3 after multiman has started up. But when making backups of ps3 game always put the disc in the ps3 in the main xbm menu and then start multiman. That works well for me, hope it helps.

I tried both GAMES & GAMEZ, this did not happen until i exceeded 160 games on 1 of my drives. Then around there i have this issue now. I know that BD mirror causes this, but it does not put the PS3_GAME folder back where it belongs even on others. I been using the mirror 4 ever & just started having this problem. I will try to unchecked it but i think i will still have this unusual problem. I think multiMAN is not functioning correct as it did before i updated to the last 2 versions for me .Something went wrong .Thanks for the response ..

It does not re position the PS3_GAME folder this is the problem .I ask this cause i know were it comes from & i know were to put move it back ,i know bd mirror causes this ,but this should not happen all the time.. I do not lack the basics , definitely do not need beginners guide. I been doing just fine i am good with all this. I never need suggestions help until now 2nd time ever.

Before i delete multiMAn i wanted to see if anybody has this happen to them before over & over again. It worked perfect until i got over 160 games on my 2TB external + i updated multiman. I had no problems until around there & yes if i do delete multiman it says it will delete my games in dev_hdd0/GAMES it says it is 80GB & that is how much i have on my internal. My catch is only 9GB so total is 80GB . When i go to delete multiMAN says 80GB + multiman folder alone is not no 80GB bud ..Thanks anyways .I will figure this out ..

Hi dean,

Thanks a ton for your "multiMan".
It gave me another reason to go for PS3.

I really am at a loss here. The only thing I see that can be done is to remove the hard drive and format it with a pc, put it back in the ps3 and install the ofw 3.55 followed by kmeaws cfw3.55. Maybe try to redown load the bdemu.bin installer and run it again. I have not had such problems and can see no reason you would be having these problems. However give these two options a try and see what happens. Start with the bdemu.bin which will have to be installed every time you install multiman that is not an update. Good luck.

This has been ansersed before. Just delete multiman and install the new one but don't forget to re-install the bdemu.bin as well. Good luck.

I just done that, formatted it on PC, where after format showed 119GB(or close to this number on PC). Inserted the HDD back into PS3, it requested to format again, and after, i installed OFW and CFW KMEAW. after first reboot checked the systems. My Hdd was showing 79GB per total with 34 GB free(tried to run uncharted 3 and same problems, and yes, installed everyting bdemu2, mn..). Thought that can`t be right, so I formated the HDD again, only this time I did it within the PS3. It took 7 hours to format. and now it shows 91GB out of 120. Still can`t be right....should at least show 111 GB.
Should I format NTFS of FAT32 when I format using the PC THX

Uncharted 3 is a 3.60+ Game and needs a fix to get it to work. However if you have other games that don't work then maybe you have a problem. As far as the hard drive space goes, 91GB out of 120GB seems a little low to me but I know that the ps3 uses some space for sys files and a 120GB hard drive is smaller once in has been formated. So the biggest thing is this a problem with that one game or all your games.
PS I do have Uncharted 3 working on my ps3 but it was not easy I had to extract some files and remove stuff. I really don't know what could stop your games from mounting.
