so .. uncharted on ps3 was amazing and i am waiting for my drake deception copy to arrive... something that cannot be achieved with a PC.. Now you may say 400$ is good to get a decent one but dont forget that i live in Albania... with 400$ here you can only get a 1 Gb ram , Pentium 4 and a onboard intel graphics. anyway i buy alot online from usa and other places but shipping hurts a bit ... so lets say i want PC . the highest pc proccessor that my motherboard support is AMD Phenom II ... what graphic card do you reccommend me ... and i have to mention that i have a 17'' acer monitor which means that to start by pc gaming i need another monitor ... so to sum up : graphic card, proccessor, monitor... i know you killerbug and i have respect for you cause i have been following the scene since January so what do you think the price would be for a upgrade ?

I am running on an AMD Athlon 64 x2...a Phenom II would be well over twice as fast as what I have, and what I have is working pretty well, in spite of the fact that the first 1/2 core is being used for software AES. For graphics, my 3870 is doing a lot better than the PS3 ever did...I don't even think you can buy a 3870 anymore because it is so old, but there are about 100 other better cards you could buy instead.

What kind of TV do you have? If it has HDMI, you can use it as a monitor. If it doesn't have HDMI, then I guess there is no point in getting good graphics from a game since you wouldn't be able to see them anyway. My PC is connected to a TV and working great like that.

As for stores that sell to Albania, I really wouldn't know...but I imagine there must be some that will at least ship to you. If you are really in a bind you can send me money through paypal and I will order parts and forward them to you. I actually have a 1st-gen Phenom that I don't have a board for that I would sell you cheap.

My HDTV with hdmi is at our living room and I cant put the PC there for many reasons. Anyway what do you think about my actual specs : AMD 64 Dual Core 4800+ , Ram 3Gb , Nvidia 9400GT 1Gb, Windows 7.
And about that AMD you have , what price can you offer me ?

From the sounds of it, you should be able to play many games at PS3 quality or higher graphics already. Your ram is a bit short, but not too bad, and the CPU is a hair slower than what I have, but not by as much as I am wasting on background processes. Your video card is actually better than mine I think.

The spare chip I have is a HD995ZXAJ4BGH ...it is a 2.6GHZ quad core "black edition"...I'll let it go for $30 USD plus shipping.

Do they have stores like Best Buy in Albania? If so, you can probably get a ~24" 1080P TV for cheap. Just make sure it is at least 120hz.

ill see if it fits my board and ill tell you ... about best buy they dont even know what it is .. only superstore like it is called neptun but it doesnt even have an online store. anyway what do you think can be the shipping cost for a monitor from USA here to albania cause the ones i have found are vary ... from 20-150 $ .

and what socket does this proccessor has ? on my motherboard cpu supported list there is one : Phenom X4 9450 (HD9450ODJ4BGH),2.1GHz,65W,rev.B3,SocketAM2+,Quad-Core this one is supported but i dont know about yours . can you tell me more man ?

The reason I asked about a "best buy" like store is because of shipping...on something big it tends to be expensive even at slow speeds, and it could also be rather rough on a LCD or LED screen. Since you only need a TV, and not a "Monitor", you can probably get something local, even if your local TV store doesn't have a website.
