This is actually why I dislike swimming in lakes and rivers now. I once felt some weeds flapping amongst my feet and legs and it just triggered a panic. Then I think about getting tangled in the weeds and drowning..

Its Hydrocephalus ive got a shunt installed into the middle of my brain, which then attaches to a pump. That then drains the excess fluid in a tube which goes out the usual way

yeah i have to have scans and checks every so often too. the worst part id say is the mental break down i had just few short months ago, god that was pure hell indeed.

Yeah, I know that feeling lol, and slightly back on thread topic, and without trying to sound all dickish, the thing I fear most is fear.

I had an accident when I was 20. Fell off a balcony and was dead for a few minutes. Heart stopped etc, but obviously still had some electrical activity in brain (no comments about "what brain?" lol), and I have never remembered the accident but I still wake up sometimes in the middle of the night feeling more terror then I can even describe. All I can put it down to is that I have re-lived it whilst asleep, so for me I am actually scared of being scared
