Launching Skyrim with lowest graphics possible?

I may be getting a little impatient, but I want to try running Skyrim on the lowest possible setting on my computer. I discussed this earlier in a different thread, but I thought maybe making a new and fresh thread will make discussion easier.

Anyways, I was looking around for reduce in texture, and all I am getting is just putting everything to low on the SkyrimLauncher.exe>Options

I have done so, yet my computer runs the game extremely slow. I understand my computer is not up to the standards but I was reading on some sites about a "reduced texture pack" for Skyrim. I DL, but don't quite know what to do with it. It says that this texture back reduces the textures and lets you run Skyrim on PCs maybe like mine.

My PC Specs:

I was said to buy a new graphics card, but I am waiting on my laptop for this Christmas. I have been reading about "512MB of dedicated memory" which kind of worries me if my laptop will have such.

People are saying just to use a desktop computer, so from there I don't think buying a new graphics/video card would solve my extremely slow framerate problem.

I just want to hear some solutions. I know I need a new card, but maybe I could be able to run Skyrim (and a couple of other games) if I could get the right settings.

Integrated? I'm looking for Dedicated. Skyrim needs 512MB of dedicated memory on the video card.

If the image you posted is accurate, you have onboard graphics sharing memory from an already small 2GB pool...a basic gaming card would make a world of difference.

I ran skyrim on medium graphics using an ATI Radeon HD 5450 using medium gfx settings, and it ran flawlessly. No offense, but have you considered upgrading your hardware? To be perfectly frank and honest, the cost of the game alone would allow you to run the game at medium-to-high graphics. I spent 100$ on a new GFX card, and am now running the game on high/ultra with no lag at all, and am loving it. And my PC is an HP piece of ****. lulz

The new graphics card HAS to have dedicated memory, right? And it will give me gameplay of 30+ FPS or so, right? If not, I'm not taking any chances on buying one.

All gaming cards have dedicated memory.

You can get a 6570 with 1GB of dedicated memory for about $60...that should be more than enough for 1080P with the quality set to "High"...it won't be maxed out quality, but it will be a lot better than PS3 quality...and the game should keep working and not slow down on you after 20 hours like it does on the PS3.

If you have a little more money you can get an even better card for only a little more...just be careful as the numbering system is not linear...the 6790 is faster than the 6670, but the 5670 is faster than the 6570.
