Hope that wasn't directed at me, I have a great relationship with my family. They simply moved to one side of the country to be with my grandparents, and I moved to the other to be with my fiancee. Still, lol'ed at the cousin comment. Hahaha

I am with my family every day of the year and the ones I am not with were never connected with me in the first place so it doesn't make a difference. Besides my birthday, this is the only day of year where I can actually get something.

My family does not celebrate the religious part of it, but it makes a fine excuse to get people together for a big dinner and some good times. Everyone has Xmas off, even those who work weekends.
