We have only seen the start. Developers now know only to release from country's where Sony can't reach them. Once we see the system fully unlocked there will be a rush of other uses again.

Do you see any other consoles on the horizon? Just look at the redesign of the Xbox 360 it still doesn't come close to the PlayStation for processing power.

Anyone who can hack the PS3 would know how to release anonymously so $ony cannot track them down. The fact that math claims to have already done what everyone needs shows that by now another hacker should have been able to do the same. Ye math refuses to release, and we all hate him for that, but he has been giving tips to some.

So the fact that noone has done what he has by now probably means that they are not working at it.

KaKaRoTo is working on normal homebrew, not piracy, he said he accepts donations and I bet there are some kids who donated and expect him to enable piracy as well, even though he clearly stated he wont.

The PS3 is just too full of egotists just looking for fame, and a lot wont share ideas and exploits just because they want to be the one known for hacking the PS3, so even though they know $ony will hunt them down if they know who they are, they still refuse to share and release anonymously.

But from the looks of it you may have to write to santa to get a fully hacked and open PS3.

Why does everyone expect a hack to come out overnight it takes time. Sony has a whole team of PAID employees that spent how long creating the OS for the Playstation. Developers for this scene have jobs and do this in there spare time! I would be shocked to see any working hack within the next six months that would be damn impossible.

PS3 scene haters all drop dead, not much was know except they all had TizzyT carved into their skin.

Now the scene is no where near an end, People are going to bust this console open and Devs or to be Devs(hopefully me) will be able to explore a vast opportunity for creativity.
