Not to knock any mods here, but the organzation in finding info is very bad...

You can use a search button, but that is a joke at times depends on topic

I personally have taken upon myself to organize some stuff here.. but im only one guy..

I have made an emulator thread.(with tons of info).(link below in sig)

I may do one on JB options with all CFW, dongles. ect.. in one post where a noob or anyone can see and decide what is best...

This whole forum needs a bit touch, It would help everyone out.. even if you know the info or not..

outdated stickies, ect.... just needs a bit of reworking (less bans/infractions more organization)

I don't think ps3hax is cluttered I find that information is easy to find if you look long enough....

Im a linux noob on the PS3 but i believe that you need a modified version of kmeaw, The orginal Kmeaw wont work for linux installation (ANY ONE CONFIRM THAT)

The complete guide about installing Linux on the PS3 is on Gitbrew (we don't need to copy/paste that) and Rebug OtherOS++ is the best firmware for Linux for a long time

Only if you want the new ps3dd way.... If you want to use vflash 5/6/7 way it is possible...
http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=22329
all you need to do is load KMEAW in PS3MFW and make the changes. But looking at the trouble it gives with the vflash part, the ps3dd way is much better. So installing Rebug in stead of KMEAW is a much better option

Agreed there but it would be nice in a thread with other JB options ect. or even a Linux thread.. (a link that is)

Some noob come across this site, so its hard for them to know of gitbrew.. if they are new to the ps3 hacking scene

True, but new members should also read some threads to inform him/herself and in the tutorial forum and homebrew forum there is enough info to find...

and I have seen almost no user new to the PS3 scene who could install Linux without opening a help thread anyway
