It's not devs making money off of other devs, it's more like pirates ripping off other pirates and legit users as well. I don't like people who try and make a buck off of piracy.

Yes, I can. The Xbox 360 scene is mainly a piracy scene. Jtags and RSG are a minority, majority are flashed DVD drives for piracy.

Math used to be a releasing dev. People hate on him now because he switched his outlook. The scene is not ungrateful (well the noob leechers probably are), but Math brought the poostorm upon himself really. If he did not boast and left the scene like he said he would, he would not have got so much hate.

Honestly, I could not care all that much how PS3hax gets the money to pay for the servers. I am grateful it is running and providing me a great place to hang out and inform me about the drama happening in the scene. God/Allah/Buddah/Other gods know this site is not getting enough in donations to run. (That $400 donation today was done by Pirate himself).

How did PSGroove lead to Kmeaw, PSGroove was just an opensource jailbreak clone, Kmew is Geohots CFW with Peak Poke implemented. Failoverflow and Geohot laid down the groundwork for Kmeaw.

Not really. Kmeaw is an actual CFW, while Geohots was a layer over OFW (best I can explain it) that allowed homebrew to run. Kmeaw is more similar to Waninkoko V1 when it launched, minus the lv2 patch. I used Waninkoko's v1 for quite some time since my console was a nor and not nand console.
