Hey kgb, are you sure you managed to reduce the insanely long loading times on external hdd with mote's patch?
If your psarcs aren't unpacked, how did you copy it to external anyway?

I'm really confused here.

If you do it like in the example i gave on my original post it will behave like the original bin.psarc:

dont pack the bin folder directly, open it up and drag the dc1 folder into the psarc.exe. It will give you a dc1.psarc, now rename that dc1.psarc to bin.psarc and when you extract it it will give you one empty bin folder and one bindc1 folder with all the files/folders inside, just like the original bin.psarc

You can also use DOS commands to join them, check my original post and the replies that followed, you'll find instructions there on how to do it. Keep in mind i never finished testing them, mote's patch came out and it became pointless to continue working on that

Use Split 4G or any other program that can split big files (+4GB) with an extension of .666**, it will split any big files to smaller chunks of 4 GB each, that way you can put them on an external FAT32 and then multiMAN will copy and join that split parts into the internal HDD (only that big file, all the rest stays on the external) and you'll be able to play the gamre from external provided you have BDEMU2 and all the right settings on multiMAN. Dont forget you can only split them after you apply the patch because the patch will overwrite files on the psarcs that need to be changed/added in order to play the game

Check this guide, i advise you to read all of the topics of the guide though, not just that one

Oh yeah, kgb, I wanted to ask you. It asks you to do a title update when you launch the game. I skipped it last time I played, but should I update?

1-Your external MUST be formatted to FAT32.
2- Use PS3SPLITTER to transfer uncharted to your external.
3-Launch with multiMAN (it will install some data) and then ask you to change your param.sfo and select "YES"
4-Run with or without disc! You're good to go.
