^^ that looks like windows 7
I learned more about windows 8 here http://dev.windows.com
You can get windows 8 beta there too, its a beta version and will probably have quite a few missing features and issues. Get it at your own risk.

http://www.metrowny.com/news-enterta...ed_on_PCs.html

i love how people think that is real. some retards took the fact that xbox live will be built in to win 8(for pc games) as 360 games will be playable on win 8.
microsoft would never allow that to happen as it would be to easy for people to pirate the games

they got the info from here http://majornelson.com/2011/09/13/xb...and-windows-8/ and took it as 360 games when they are talking about pc games. they are doing away with games for windows live and merging it with xbox live, they have already started doing this.

Windows 8 needs 360 support...what else will it offer the desktop/laptop crowd? So far it just looks like windows 7 with an optional touch-optimized interface and (possibly) ARM processor support. Yeah...it might be neat to run certain windows apps on a cheap ARM tablet...but that is hardly a reason for a new OS to exist.

If it is actually more efficient than XP, that would be great...but it still wouldn't make much difference; Windows 7 really doesn't take that much power from a modern PC.

Windows isn't (nor will it be) secure enough for me to trust it in such ways.

All I really want is for them to fix the search tool...it never finds anything and it is a resource hog. Disable it and you easily double the speed of desktop navigation.
