Ok I've looked everywhere and nobody seems to know except some say to change the Console ID in PARAM.SFO. Doesn't work very well.

I figured out a new and better way that is way more effective.
What you would need is FTP and FileZilla.

Simply copy and past PARAM.PFD and SAVE.DAT file from 3rd party Save to your own game save threw FTP.


Example, I had final fantasy 13 from an other console that I saved and got YLOD
Bought a new slim and downgraded to 3.55 using e3 flasher.

Started a new game on my slim and saved at the very beginning.
FTP my slim and access where my new Game Save of FF13 I just created and copy these files I mentioned above Via FTP from my old backup save i had from my other console. Start FF13 and loaded the game save and Bam I'm good to go.

(PS your game saves will be located in the following folders.
dev_hdd0/Home/00000001/savedata)

I've tested this on many, such as

Soul Caliber 4
final Fantasy13
grand Turismo 5
Resident Evil 5
etc..

Do your trophies work though or are they disabled?

I do the same but I also ftp param.sfo after editing both 'account id' and 'params'. Both my saves and trophies work.

How do you do that? Fake save owner? Problem with this is that if you have it on all the time it will give you problems. If you save while it's on then you can't use it on another ps3/FW I think. People had issues with it. But if you're going to stick to rebug forever then you wouldn't care much.

I believe they do, most of my trophies got transferred from my old game saves I've done. Usually I backup my saves that I've done many hours in.

Not sure what you mean by manually syncing trophies. What I meant is that after copying a save file, do trophies still work, the ones that you haven't won yet? Some have been having issues with trophies saying its locked. I've even experienced one with Lego star wars, where after loading my copied save file I got a message saying I'm using a save file from another user and saving and trophies will be disabled. Had to fiddle with param.sfo to get it working. Thing is though, I didn't try copying just the two files mentioned, the save file and the .sfd. I copied the param.sfo as well, which is obvious why I got that message.

Did work after playing with account id and params in param.sfo though. All is working now.

param.sfo is what carries the console ID, overwriting it is an automatic failure

Ok well,

I have one ps3 cfw3.55 rebug and another one ps3 with OFW 4.0.

My question is: can copy my save (specially Trophies) modded from cfwrebug on my ps3 ofw4.0?.
To use another save on the OFW now is possible with xpoder, i have made and i can confirmed that it work fine, but not work with Trophies.

The Trophies are located on other dir? (if i remember well are on trophies dir (trophies.dat)
Sorry for the confusion...

Explane: when i use on rebug fw the option to unlok the thophies and get Platinum, and save it, how to transfer also these? it's possible?
