This may sound dumb, but did that file get edited in notepad or edited on windows? those errors can show up sometimes because of that reason.

Try running it through dos2unix and see if it fixes those errors.

Just a suggestion.

do not download it, click on raw and open an editor (gedit, nedit, or what you want), copy and paste it and save as *.sh

i have a question... sometime ago somebody said that 3.7x+ could play ps2 games (all ps3, not only BC)... so, can we replace ps2emu from 4.00 to 3.55 to make ps2 backups works on 3.55 or am i thinkin bull****s?

Whoever told you that 3.7x can run ps2 games is a... GENIUS!!!!! You should go hug them and then throw your ps3 out the window because thats not what sony does they remove features not add them.
