Learn From MIT Free!!!

There is a site that I don't think everyone knows and has loads of knowledge there for free. It is called MIT Open Course Ware and it provideds many of MIT's courses for free.
There is no registration and there are a large selection of subject to choose from. Just find what you want to learn and start from intro and work your way up. Some course are more detailed then others but its free information and if your anything like me, that is great news.
If you feel like learning here is the link:

http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/

Personally Im in the computer science course right now and they provide video lectures its awesome.

PS: just though I'd share, Knowledge is power .

PSS: This is only for knowledge and through this you will not get a degree or a certificate, just knowledge..

always nice to have some good learning resources; and free which can always lead up to a certification!

I've thought about computer science but, I took a Computer Programmer Analyst course @ college and dropped it. Didn't wanna code!

Got my A+ instead and started up a lil business/hobby.

Thanks for the info, this will be good reading material!

Yes I myself started off in hardware and was looking forward to taking my A+ but then I got into programming and well now I'm trying to juggle the two together lol. I'm really good with hardware and don't mind leaving that alone for a good while to start and master the art of programming, besides I'm fairly confident I will pass the certification if I take it since I have a networking major friend who took the exam and did really well, for me who have been doing hardware for much longer then him and know much more regarding that field I would surely pass it with flying colors, now let me stop myself from making a complete fool of myself...lol . But yeah programming is a side thing and I am currently on my last day in a CCNA track..."Cisco Certified Network Associate".

Way back when, our high school was offered a pilot run of the Cisco courses designed for entry level students in high schools.

I took the course, but didn't take it too seriously at all. Kind of wished I did, but, I dont think networking was a somewhere I really wanted to go either. Not a programming person, not a networking person. Ended up taking the CPA course, and then Multimedia Productions. Didn't go anywhere with either of them haha.

Wrote my A+ in 2009 with no problems and started up a little lone computer business. Computers are more of a hobby to me. I'm more.. I think designed to be helping people on a more personal level.

PC repair and building is just a hobby, but it's a fun one.

The CCNA track is a good one. CCNA lead to CCNP, lead to MSCA, etc etc etc. You can go so many places and there's so many interesting jobs out there designed for people like yourself.

Now... I'm going into Insurance and Financial Planning lol. Though it's a family business, so, maybe I'll incorporate the Insurance/F.P. with computer repair
