Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, VEVO, Google and all of those companies that are bound to get affected by it have 20+ times (each one of them) more money to put in those congress men's mouths to stop SOPA. It won't happen, it's exactly the same thing Sony does for their court cases. I wouldn't be surprised if those people who are responsible for this idea would be found dead by the end of this year.

This has been going on for about a year now...different names, different versions, people from huge corporations like Google fighting it, and it still keeps coming up. Last week they said they would delay the vote for 3 months, then they sprung it up again this week, now it looks like it is on hold again. They are just waiting for the opposition to stop paying attention for a moment so they can force it through without a full-on uprising.

This country is f**ked...do you know Ron Paul is leading right now? The press is openly admitting that the public opinion does not matter because the shadowy, unelected people who run the government don't like him. We just attacked Iran for shooting down an unmanned drone that was in their airspace illegally, and gas is about to go through the roof because of it. We'll probably use that as an excuse to attack Canada or something. There were peaceful protests all over the country up until the cops, military, and DHS started attacking them...now the protestors are in hiding, and you can be sure that they won't try to be peaceful again...and that will serve as an excuse to label them as terrorists and hold them forever without trial, as recently legalized.

Instead of bull**** proposals like this, how about the companies put the money they save by having digital distribution instead of physical media into better security for their products. Censorship is not the answer.

Websites that agree with this bill are in violation of our right to freedom of information/speech which makes them deserving of a take down themselves

They could take a tip from Lewis CK...no DRM, low prices, and huge profits!

I cannot agree with you more. When did things ever get so f***ed up ? They might as well cut the constitution into fine little squares for the elite to wipe their asses. Dr. Ron Paul has my vote for sure, for the sake of the U.S. and our current global crises but what the f*** does my vote count RIGHT?

Everyone EXCEPT those who make the rules, live above the law, and have bank accounts full of RIAA and MPAA money. If it doesn't pass, they will just bring up another one and another and another until it does pass.

( Stop Release ****ty Expensive Game)
One example Alice Madness, 69 euro lanuch prices, 3 days for complete it.
Also mostly films now are 1h, 1h-30 min max....Blair Witch Project Style....where are films like Titanic now? ( not because is a good film, but at least you pay cinema ticket for stay 3 hours watching something )
Usually, in case i get a good games ( like in Bioshock case ) i always buy the original copy for thanks the producer, but for mostly of game atm piracy is a must....at least in Italy whit this prices....
