Well I'd try checking the power internal battery for a good connection, also check the ribbon cable connection to the power and eject tab.
I'd assumed you took all that apart at one point. Dissemble again and make sure everything is connected good. Soldering those point will not keep the ps3 from running. |

When you say your "2nd unbrick solution" I assume you mean a different solution than in this thread. If you could please link me to your solution, I would much appreciate. I don't have a bios backup of either console. I tried to get one, but it just goes to red screen. These consoles are true RSOD, and is a problem with the nor. |

No I have 2 unbrick solution. the second one is on page 4 I think. But you need a working Bios off your ps3 that your unbricking in order to work. You can try it but I doubt it would work, in my 2nd guide I posted a Modified Dump BKPPS3 file try that. If you have a e3 flasher then make a dump of it and use that! Even if your on RSOD |

Cool, thanks. I'll have to wait till after Christmas to try, lots of family stuff to do. But will let you know how it goes.
I almost want to skip the in-laws tonight so I can try this! Wife would kill me though. LOL. Thanks again for your help. Last edited by playerkp420; 12-24-2011 at 11:59 AM. |
