i am thinking of ordering TB dongle from http://lightake.com i was waiting for CFW 4.0 but DEC is allmost over and there is no sign of it so i am ordering it
i want to know how much tax do i need to pay if i order it
there is a local guy here who sells it for about 84$(4200 Rs) and this site has it for 55$(2860 Rs) so please give me some information about taxes

First of all... GO AUSTRALIA!!!!!!

Ok, now that we have that down pat I would recommend that you NOT get a TB dongle!!! Whatever you do STAY AWAY!!!!

For a little more money you should buy a second-hand PS3 for around $150 AUD (not sure what it's like in India sorry buddy). This way you have 1 PS3 on CFW and another on OFW 4.00.

There are two advantages to this. Not only can you play ALL games but you have PSN access on your OFW 4.00. Then you have a PS3 for backups on your CFW + homebrew + multiMAN, etc.

EDIT: Couldn't you somehow strongarm the seller to 'keep his mouth shut' and not pay taxes?

Hi Abhi are you sure TB will work for you? Also ordering it from outside is also risky, all decisions are yours .

Go for the XBOX360 instead of getting the PS3, and get the drive flashed. Or you can get it RGH. The 360 is generally better compared to getting ****Blue. There aren't any lags as well on some games like Skyrim that are on the PS3. Use the PS3 to play its exclusives when they come out.

Nothing dumber than a DRM dongle! Sorry mate but ask anyone on this forum and they wouldn't recommend TB or any other dongle.

I second @CrystalWolf 's comment, the PS3 has some limitations that the 360 doesn't, only you have to play games like LA Noire with 3 disks which is pretty stupid!

It may not be in india but in Australia it's still covered by a limited warranty so you'd either get a full refund, credit, exchange or repair (one of the above) if it were to break.

And it won't take the amount of time compared to the site u are ordering from
It will hardly take 10 days from eBay
An they are from India
