Another PS3 Feed Tool (for windows)
There were some tools made by Phantomdibb and then SuperFury afterwards for android devices that did simple yet useful things, I thought I'd make something similar for windows users.
Here is an app I made but for the windows user. It basically does what Phantomdibb's widget does and displays PS3hax.net front paged information. It's very simple..... ![]() Made to run on Aero compatible PCs, but might work on XP :P lol. Here is an Image of my app: Download Here : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=P5XO1D5L PS: It relies on PS3hax.net's RSS feed..... Any problems, issue please report them .Also any suggestions are welcome..... PSS: this is only a small part of a bigger package coming later....

Sorry to not sound grateful, but why would you spend time doing this?
There are already 1000s of RSS readers, some which you can customize to exactly your layout as well. All you need is to google "rss reader" and put in the feed "http://www.ps3hax.net/rss". You can probably even google "rss reader vb.net" and make a program exactly like yours in a few hours following a tutorial since all you need is VS and basic knowledge such as building a project. It's great that you're trying to create something, as much as I applaud your willingness to learn, why yet another RSS reader?

This program actually did take me a couple hours to make, and I really do know its simple as I have already stated in the tiny description. I agree that there are RSS readers out there that are awesome in every way... Just wanted to make something that only required the user to run and get the feed. No need for customizing and all that.....a Simple program, that was the main focus really. So I thank you for your thoughts and opinion.

Well it's nice to hear you are aware of the possibilities on the rss front.
And I'm pleased you didn't get upset, it's not a rant it's just... Why not think bigger? Try to create something that isn't already done... Maybe throw yourself into the deep end, I'm sure there are plenty of people here willing to help should you get stuck. (myself included)

PS: why would I be upset lol. EDIT: I also have other projects that are unrelated to PS3 so, to be honest I think this turned out pretty OK for a couple of hours .
