Lawyers are useless.

Lawyers are useless. They are paid so much money a year and don't produce anything beneficial to the community. A burger flipper produces more than a lawyer.

I concur. I worked in the UK crown courts for a few years and I was sickened by what I saw. The barrister's were mainly show-boating, openly racist, misogynistic money grabbers, with the solicitors acting like coked up versions of their 16 year old brothers. Honestly, often the criminals act with more dignity than their counsel.

It is not the lawyers..... it is the law system

we in the Netherlands have the next rule now for 2012:

Even as a defendant or respondent, you must pay court fees. If you (as a defendant or respondent), the registry does not pay on time (within four weeks), the court does not consider your defense. This means that the claim or the claim of the plaintiff or applicant will be assigned. In this case you must still pay court fees.
(google translate sucks....)

Affairs of indeterminate value (this includes the application attachment) : € 267,-
Cases involving a claim with a course of more than € 25,000 in principal and no more than € 100,000 : € 821,-
Cases involving a claim with a course of more than € 100,000 in principal : € 1436,-
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So someone goes to court and claims a 100.000 euro damage from you while you did nothing and you still have to pay € 1436,- court fee otherwise you loose....

Financial criminals rule the Dutch court now

Um, I beg to differ.

My lawyer the great 'Bruce Margolin' saved my arse from prison and jail so many times.

If you are ever in trouble in the state of California for cannabis related issues I 'HIGHLY' recommend this guy.

Alright look, I am happy you did not serve any jail/prison time, but look. Lawyers are all talk, and talk can come from anyone. They don't give anything back to the world and this is what I mean.

The president leads the country.
A doctor saves lives.
A burger flipper provides food.
Clerks sell goods.

Lawyers talk.

well when you end up arrested and go to court you are going to be wishing you had a good lawyer. yes they may not add anything to society most of the time, but to the people who use them they are life savers. so they are not life savers for some

so lets see

The president leads the country. hmmm the last two we've had couldn't lead a hourse to water let alone a country.

A doctor saves lives. they also kill a lot of people and cause harm to people

A burger flipper provides food. fast food is the number 1 reason people in the us are fat so i wouldn't really say they add anything to the world, a farmer would have been a better choice.

Clerks sell goods. they are being replaced by the self serve ones, they are also some of the most miserable people you will meet.

Lawyers talk. save people from jail

every job has its positives and negitives
