right i was thinking about a lot of stuff what i have seen hear regarding the ps3.
and i can say that it has slowed down a bit.
in fact you can say that it has stopped ppl moveing from the ps3 to the wii/360.
now i just like to know what the ppl at hax think is going to happen.
iv been waiting in the wings for well it's a year.dont get me wrong been a lot of stuff came out over that year.and a lot of bs said.but what do you think 2012 going to give us.

Some keypoints that have been said before:

It took until some time last year to finally hack the PS3.

Given the short amount of time since the ps3 was cracked we HAVE made progress.

There are still currently vulnerabilities known in today's firmwares, vulnerabilities that will be used to make a nwew jailbreak.
(This means that despite all Sony has done, and despite what they learned from their PSP, they are getting sloppy.)

Despite not being PS3 related, the vita was hacked on day one, even though it was only the psp section. This mirrors how the psp was hacked on day one, further evidence that sony has gotten sloppy.

There was a time when 5.00m33-6 was the highest available cfw while 5.50 was out, in order to play new games modified eboots have to be made. The same is CURRENTLY happening with PS3, only morons like JB2 and such decided to taint the ever so reliable process by succumbing to the deadly sin of greed. (NOTE: if you own said devices, my beef is not with you, i believe you got ripped off, yes but to each his own so if youre happy with your device then congrats; my beef is with the people behind it.)


To wrap it up, i believe things have gotten interesting, but in no way is the war, much less the battle over. FEAR NOT.

You're wrong there. The PSVita is at the moment still unhacked. The PSP emulator only allows PSP homebrew to run and does not give any kind of access to the PSV really. Basically the PSP was re-hacked.

I just meant from a homebrew perspective, i do get that the vita functions themselves remain untouched but i meant that homebrew was able to be run on the device PERIOD, but yeah looking back on it i do see that was vague on my part.

If microsoft dont release anything new i prefer nintendo then ps3 with 60 EUR games

Ok firstly a HEN is about to come out by kakaroto and the people working with him, you guys have no idea how much effort he is putting into it, he has a familly to take care of, he has a job, and his free time is actually spent coding for you! every single one of you, that guy is all about dedication to this HEN, also the people that are working with him, those guys, ****, they were working on christmas eve, despite having their families to spend the time with them, they were in front of a monitor actively working on the HEN.
I know this was not a rant just asking our opinion on what will happen in the future, but hey had to let my rant here, cause people do not realize how hard that is.
So there... in the near future you will have kakaroto's HEN
later who knows? sig crafting, convertions, bootloader decrypted, cobra hacked tb/jb king hacked so much stuff that could happen...
As for something to be worried about, well worry about the 3000 series those machines will be a ****ing pain...

just a tip the wii-u will be out dated once a new sony or ms game console comes out, it is only slightly better then the current gen systems, i look at the wii-u as what nintendo should have released this gen
