Maybe you figured out the most usefull trick of last 4 month or maybe you just trolling us, i cant know this....but if i was in your place, whit 3 post i would support what i say whit some proofs.

Oh ye of little faith, to whomever has a Progskeet (and some balls) please try and confirm v8s10's method (I believe it is possible, which would be another plus for QA flag)

I'm not trolling. This works.
If you want video proof i can record from a successful downgrade point with Rogero v2 installed. The proof will be when the console asks for 4.00 fw in recovery mode and installs 3.55 OFW. Then i can install Cobra CFW and prove it works. (I don't own a TB, but same concept) Will that be proof enough?

I can confirm.It`s working.I don`t have TB but i have downgrade my PS3 to 3.50 and instal Kmewa CFW.After downgrade to Rogero v2 instal Rebug OtherOs++ firmware then Qa_flag_extra.pkg and then install and run Qa_flag.pkg.If I can install Kmeaw so why You can`t install TB firmware?

With Kmeaw, Rogero v2, and Rebug you can disable lv1 checks in MFWbuilder. (Someone correct me if I am wrong).

You cannot do that with TB or other Dongle CFW's.

What this guy is saying is that after you downgrade, you install the QA flag app from Rebug, QA flag the console and then install whatever CFW you want via the recovery mode. If this is true, it would be awesome.

I wonder, if this turns out true, then does QA make the console ignore the lv1 checks, or does it really reset them? I think it is the former as it still shows 4.00 or higher in the menu.... Anyone attempting this: BACK UP YOUR BIOS before you do it!
