you asked for reasons why sony had not won. i stated them. for me its a personal win, ive never claimed otherwise. i simply showed you other reasons why sony can not have won by mentioning this site etc

you asked what could be done on 3.55 that could not be done on 3.15, i answered newer games and better linux (none could be done on 3.15) and showtime could not be ported due to restrictions put in place by sony to otheros, mainly locking out the rsx. it was not simply due to games.

if games are the ONLY reason people think a scene exists then they will be disappointed.

considering you dispute all of my reasons can you state catagorically why/how sony have won? both personally and globally? and what you class as a win/loss?

I agree with you that it's a personal opinion, that's why I think it's wrong to set a criteria (example) that "sites like this" should be closed for Sony to win, also why I think it's moot to discuss this as a "win"/"lose".

But it's nice to have finally put some content onto what's regarded as a win for some people, access to 10 ps3 homebrew games all in pre-alpha versions, better linux (that hardly anyone uses), and Showtime (personally never used it, I just stream media to my PS3, never needed it).
The above could be important to some people I suppose, but I'm not surprised that the majority thinks it's a very slim gain to say the least.

exactly, thats why i dont think anyone can say as a whole that sony has won.
for me they havent, for pirates they havent, for psn acces, they have undoubtably

even for those people who claim that games matter most, they have the option of dongles to play pirate games and psn games are still being released. that is a big win for people who want piracy and a big loss for sony. the only loss is the fact that people need to pay for a dongle which is a small price to pay for pirates

As I pointed out, the game selection and controls are the main things that make the Wii less fun to play...although I must admit that immersion is hampered considerably by the graphics of the Wii...so the graphics actually do make it less fun to play. kind of lost for me is to give up and bought many things that they sell at market...
i won't provoke u all but i just want to share my opinion...
i think u already know the capacity of bluray disc upper than 50 giga but the game inserted in it many of them were 3-15 giga each game and they sold it with such high price between $ 40-50 each disc...
if they inserted variety of games up till fullest capacity of blueray disc it's doesn't matter for me (or even us)with $ 40-50 each disc,.but as u can see they didn't...
that why we stood together here is to create/even help each other for a costume that will allow us play many game with HDD int/ext cause that things was an efficient one method for us who was a true gamer...
due to illegal and pressure from them many of our savior of gamer persued to jail...
but one things was clear it is a costumer satisfaction [/COLOR][/B]that what they was forget all a long time....
if we look back at the time when PS2 has been the king of console when everybody buy it/love it/seek it/and play it was at the time when launched Matrix and even Open PS Loader as substitue the optic driver...
at the first they claim it as a destroyer,.but at the same time they got a rappidly growth of their console sales...
things now change at ps3,.
they didn't give a freedom to custumer with the freqwency of system update new firmware and i hope they can see many PS3 costumer had run away and choose another console which is cheaper in price but give them a new + excellent game to be play...
due to this situasion i can predict at 1-3 years later PS3's fate will be like a nintendo and sega consoles because there aren't any costumer who want to buy any console/game with such high price...
this is not a warfare,.for me this some kind of protes about the independency due to freedom of gamer who wants play many game with a cheaper cost....
its may sound contradicty...but in the end this thing will help them too to get a rappidly growth for their sales of their consoles....
at the place where we can understand each other no body will lose,.and no body will be sacrifice....

and the other half want a bit more.
see this is what i think of all this.is i am more than happy with what i got now.
i have not got other os never wanted it i have a pc for all of that.
new games i have a two ps3 one of them is on ofw (i like cod and fifa what can i say).
but one thing is what i would want is to back up my games.they are on my hard drive but
if my skyrim was to get a crack in it i be pissed so forget psn i like the fact that it's not on cfw to many dick's like to jump high on cod (w a n k e r s ).but it be nice to not have to use a disc drive any more. any way big up to all dev's for all your hard work you have done and are going to do.and to all at hax have a happy new year.
