You wont tell what u've patched because you cant patch nothing.
You just seeking for attection, all ppl who succesfully unbricked their console have just made correctly all steps, this isnt related to your files at all even if they think your file did the magic!
In other topics you clearly showed that you dont even know what's a flasher, and now you're suggesting at people how to unbrick a console copyng a pre-made tutorial?

Serioulsy, you cant even avoid a brick whit the easiest solderless flasher of the world but you can edit a .bin from a nor and use it on multiple console?

Yeah speak whit prohack again.....
Man the nor dumps are encrypted ( this mean you cant touch them unless you get proper keys ) and PER_CONSOLE.
This mean if you write some per console sector whit his pointless .bin you can fock your console forever, instead of have only a semibrick recoverable 100%

I give you another suggestion, the whole 3d is simply useless because the 1st action you do before downgrade is backup your bios on 4.00 fw...then if u want you can make also a backup on 3.55 ( after the downgrade) but is pointless since your syscon will be always on 4.00, so for unbrick you need your first backup, doesnt matter on what firmware you bricked.....

Thanks a lot to all the people who are helping people with their ps3 issues specially to Pro.Hack, pbanj, TDCroPower2, xoda and many more...

My problem of ps3 shutting down with 3 beeps and blinking red light got solved....soldered the sbe and nor trisate point properly, flashed with method from TDCroPower2 and my ps3 got life again after nearly 2 months...approx around 30 times opening and closing.

Finally made it through every step without errors. But still have the RSOD. It seems I have downgraded from 4.0 to 3.55, as I see in recovery menu. This machine must be unrepairable.

I have another RSOD machine. I am going to try on that one now. Should go a little faster, now that I got the hang of it. Wish me luck.

Well seems some of the blocks are damaged and e3 flasher can't do that, from what I've heard progskeet programs it completes the full flash.


I had an other RSOD and it worked for me, I am sorry that it didn't for you.

1. if you mean there aren't 2 folder when u extracted after download....i would like to say that u have wrong file to download....
2. a real e3_flasher has a folder like this...
downgrade--->first step and second step
first step--->lv2 diag.self and PS3UPDAT.PUP
second step--->only LV2 diag.self.2

Definitely buddy...in case your ps3 is shutting down after you power it on with 3 beeps and blinking red light


1.followed the guide on e3 web site "repair method if console bricked" for soldering the wire only.(make sure to properly solder the wire between two points as mentioned in the guide.This was the tough part)

2. settings of e3 should be on flash fun mode ie swithes will be set as 1000000 ,if the connection is properly done, the ps3 does not shut down when you press the power button . from here on its really easy

3.Make sure you have your consoles backup bios either 3.7 or 4.0 or 3.55 any will do but it has to be from the same console(i had bricked on cfw 3.55, but flashed 3.70 ofw bios ,nor patched , had no problems with that)
