Actually, you can. You download an OFW, extract it or whatever, change it's name (thus indicating you started working on making a CFW out of it), call it a "beta" (because obviously it's not finished) and then go tell everybody you're "working on a CFW" in tweets, videos, forum posts, etc etc. Technically, you're not lying.

This is not fake but it is NOT CFW either. I extracted (easy) the firmware ALL of the files are from firmware 4.0 except license.xml which has been modified with this extra message

"AnonymousJailbreakers jailbreak agreement. december 2011. 4.00 JAILBREAK CREATED BY: AnonymousJailbreaker (AnonyJbreak) THIS IS THE NEW UPDATED JAILBREAK BUT IT HAS LESS FEATURES SO IT WILL NOT BE CORRUPT! I COULDNT USE THE INSTALL PACKAGE FILES DUE TO ERRORS SO SORRY ABOUT THAT! & ENJOY MY JAILBREAK! ALL OF THE SAME TERMS AND CONDITIONS FROM THE PREVIOUS JB STILL APPLY!!!"

When/if CFW 4.0 is released it will be front paged here so don't bother yourself with idiotic bs.

Okay so this CFW doesn't have any outstanding features and yes maybe this guy wants people to update to 4.0 but I was giving the answer to a question asked. For all reading this DO NOT use this CFW unless you want to be on PS3 firmware 4.0 with no custom lv1/lv2 etc...

By your way to see this thing in anyway this is not a CFW this is a MFW because dont have any system's file/s customized.
