Indeed, that's a good sign to get EBOOT / homebrew loaded on 3.56+ though

Check the header of the ISO.BIN.EDAT and compare it to a self file from an EBOOT.BIN. There is somekind of a bonus executable in that file that checks JUST the authentication of the file and the rest bytes are just the ISO batch of the game inside a PSAR (compression) file, same exactly as PSP. Without the rest EDATs/exdata it won't start.

I just made a thread but I don't know what happened to it....anyways, is this possible with one PS3 and connecting it to say, my laptop? I've read that it was;
http://www.ps3iso.com/playstation-ne...n-uploads.html In light of this recent thread, I thought I should ask. Is it actually possible for me to transfer PSN games over to my PS3 running 3.73 OFW? This method was found on another page; 1.) First what you what do do is download this version of Hamachi after downloading it, install it and you should have something like this. 2.) after that you wanna click the triangle at the bottom right of hamachi a drop down menu should come out, click Create New Network you should get something like this 3.) after doing what the description say in the pic go to start on you computer and search cmd you should get something like this ![]() what your going do is ping your ip. so what you do is type ping (then type the number in your hamachi, like so ![]() 4.) If the ping fail use this step if it pass moved on to part 2 Press start then control panel then is should open a windows like this ![]() This part extra im not sure if it help... ![]() Part 2 Bridging 1.) ok after you have tested the ping and everything went well now you got bridge it Press Start then press Network and then click on Network Sharing center you should get to a page like this click manage network connection ![]() 2.) Now this is the part we start bridging plug a Ethernet cord from laptop/desktop in to your ps3 (Back to the Computer) bridge your local and hamachi like this ![]() after bridging you should get something like this ![]() now we gotta make sure we can still ping < Repeat step 3 in part 1. 4.) you local network cable should say it unplug,so turn on your ps3 when it booting up the local area connection should enabled it self for a brief second, showing that it function properly<br /> , it say unplug after. 5.) then go to setting on xmb(your ps3 menu) go down to system setting then go to data transfer utility just the first option if you sending and second on if you receiving. after clicking what choice take a look at your local area connection. if it enabled your ready to go I CANT GET HAMACHI TO WORK, PLEASE HELP! |

if your on OFW 3.72 you can just get someone to install the file on their JB 3.55 & the fix then they can hit triangle then copy it to a USB pen upload that file then you can download it & install it on OFW 3.72 this feature was took out of 4.00 NOW WE NO WHY = MASS PiRACY i could upload the full game here with the fix already applied to it (dont think im aloud but if a mod says its ok i will) then people below 4.00 (not including 4.00) could just copy the game directly to the XMB EDIT just tried you need a psp to copy the game to not a USB PEN but you SHOULD be able to copy it to 3.72 from a psp Last edited by bigfishbad; 01-02-2012 at 06:42 AM. |

You could upload it via multiupload, post, and see what happens? Or PM me...
Thank you for responding quickly, I really appreciate it. Also, do you know the limitations of the Data Transfer Utility? I can't use it to transfer DLC/Purchased PSN games to my other PS3, can I? |

i cant copy it to my PSP i have no memory card for it ATM & it wont allow me to copy it to USB but you can just copy it straight to a PSP from 3.55 AND I THINK ONCE ITS ON THE PSP you could just copy it to another ps3 below 4.00 because SONY removed the option to copy XMB games in 4.00 (this is just for PS1 & minis BTW copying to psp) ALSO im not sure about DLC? but i do no people are modding the black ops DLC & i always modded MW2 this way but just the update not any DLC

I thought ps3/PSP transfers were one way only. I was unable to transfer my ffvii back to ps3 and that was on 3. 55
