It's a brand new PS3 never been opened new from the shop, I haven't bought it yet. But does anyone know the default firmware that will come with it? It's a 160GB model.

according to its date, i'd say the odds are pretty big its an CECH-3K console.

actually, im pretty sure its the CECH-3004A ( I got the same console... )

however, we're currently in 2012, and the console carry's an discount that ends next month..

and since the console is out of stock, im sure they wont bother to get older consoles which can be downgraded to 3.55 and sell those.
