I don't know anyone who has a ps3 with CFW
I don't think the pc transfer method posted above works on newer firmwares.

But it should be possible to emulate a ps3 'host' from a pc. Does anyone know the protocol used for file transfer?
If someone can post a dump of the transfer using wireshark or another network sniffer, I can make a program that transfers files from pc to ps3.

how to get these games and other working
you need to download a UNMODDED version of the game from sony servers and install it on your 3.55 and a fix by EXEtrimALL the PKG fixes he releases dont work for this method you need the EDAT fix and you have to put it in here
/dev_hdd0/home/0000000x/exdata/ (x is your user id number, like 1, 2, 4)
when that is done all you need to do is data transfer to another PS3 on FW 4.00


(the reason i think this works on these PSN titles is because the game is UNMODDED and at boot must check /exdata/ to see if its has been paid for and of course the edat is there confirming the content is valid)

He has changed the crack content to be NP 3 i believe & this would be free & not be encrypted with 355 keys & this is why it works ! Read the thread ,he decrypted & successfully re encrypted the files correctly .. I am going to look at the eboot later tomorrow ,cause i can decrypt retail eboots up to 355. so i will tell you all if he used 355 keys which i think not but never know ..

I can confirm this method works on the Tetris game(shows up on my XMB as a retail game, not Tetris Demo), so I guess it works on all the games mentioned

Yes there working because there games that u only download a 100kb edat to unlock the full game .. (there is alot of them on the PSN there is even 3.60 games that are like this) it be the only way u could play them would be by transfering over to your 3.60 LMAO ..

any game release from EXEtrimALL that has a EDAT FiX will work this way so about 90% of his releases SHOULD WORK on OFW 4.00
that includes
PS1 PSMiNi DLC & PSN GAMES
also i think we should focus on getting this method working VIA a backup & restore exploit so the average joe could just download our backup files & restore them on there PS3 so everyone can do this
the closes i got with this yesterday was a error AFTER it installed & it made me reformat my OFW 4.00 (the restore was a mixed of my 3.55 backup & a 4.00 backup you need to mix the 2 restores otherwise it will say this backup was made from a different ps3 and wont restore GAMES in the XMB so the idea is to trick the OFW to thinking the restore come from that ps3 & not a different one)
