took your advice and went ahead and tried it... but its still as broken for me as I remember. The program crashes with either a "the program has stopped working" error, or if run in XP sp3 compatibility mode(as im on Windows 7) it says an unexpected error occurred... anyone know how to fix this?

that sucks that it isn't working for you.

I am on Windows 7 x64, when i booted the app, it froze the computer for about 30 seconds, changed the Windows theme, then worked.

I will make a video later, i haven't configured it to my PS3 yet, so i will see if any other problems arise.

I too have 64x windows 7, and its strange because the ps3 says it registered the device right as the pc program fails...
