Hello,
I've bought a ps3 three months ago which was on 3.55 FW
and day before tomorrow i jailbroked it by taking guidance from this itskamel's n00b jailbreak
to play burnout paradise backup which my cousin gave
and now i've bought RED DEAD REDEMPTION and when i start the game it asks for a update to 3.66 FW
so what do i do to play that game without updating or should i play after updating.

You will have to see if there is a fix for that game (im not too sure if there is one) which will allow u to play without upgrading

Most likely, the game you bought came with a newer version preinstalled(which is usually a good thing, as it fixes bugs etc), however, the newer version is probably encrypted with a higher set of firmware keys than those of 3.55.

Previous RDP games on the shelves that came from an earlier production batch, has probably had a lower version.

Don't update the game, like every update from $ony it is more a downgrade . Original backup RDR runs here on 3.55 Rebug

euhhhh just press red when it ask to update, so then you dont update and come into the game....

all compatible games for 3.55 Cfw with an update available will ask for an update if your ps3 isnt spoofed to 3.73/4.00 when your internet is connected....

for starters disconnect the internet, then simply download a 3.55 patch for the game using awesome update finder, install the patch, then copy the game across to your internal hard drive with multiman, it'll work fine.

and its instructions says this:

install, copy param.sfo & eboot.bin to BLRD000000, restart, run

what it mean
