Ok listen carefully, the E3_ downgrade file is specific for E3 flasher so any other will most likely brick your ps3. Do not use any other files other then E3 download center on there website.

E3 is not trying to enforce brick that makes no sense. Like I said I've use e3 flasher plenty of time and works great. The only purpose of downgrade.bin is to rewrite the Nor in order to recognize your JB dongle thus leads to installing 3.55 and E3 downgrade.bin is modified to work only on E3.


Also I think you can remove E3 and just out back HDD and might work without it. I don't know I never tried I have Dual Boot so I need esata station

tell me something, after i rewrite the nor with e3_downgrade.bin, the console have to boot and open the boot screen again , am i correct ???

No once you flash downgrade.bin then after unplug ps3 there should be no video/audio Hdd activity or usb at all.


If you see boot screen after downgrade.bin flash then is wasnt flashed correctly

my console is like that withou any activity, now i just have to continue the other phase . My dongle come tomorrow and after is just use that and finish the E3 tutorial isnt it ??

That is correct but to make it 100% successful I would flash downgrade.bin again once you have your JB dongle in your possession.

but flash the downgrade.bin again just after using the JB dongle isnt it ? because my console when i turn on, dont have any activity and shutdown in 2 seconds.

i have problem i do the all step but i can't reflash your bkpps3.bin
i get 3 blue light flashing
and the e3flasher.log
start logging...
program PS3 BIOS.
fail to initialize PS3 BIOS.

can u help me

The downgrade.bin is for the JB dongle, so flash it first then usb JB dongle

Make sure you unplug ps3 and try to flash it again, also make sure your sd card that is attached to TF board is secured on correctly, by pushing your finger on it to make sure it was firm connection and try again.

If still doesnt work try flashing your dump first and restart and do mine again

but now i downgrade to 3.41 and brick my Ps3

I'm assuming you downgrade ps3 with E3 Flasher, if so then I must tell you why did you downgrade with 3.41 when clearly all over the place that has E3 talking about it says you can only use 3.55 Rogero that E3 has gave for us to use.

so in order to fix your brick ps3 you will need to update to 4.00 again threw recovery and downgrade again. If your ps3 cannot load to recovery due to ps3 shutting down after few seconds then you will need to use E3 unbrick solution on their website under download tab and then downgrade again from there.
