Guys, dont forget you WILL need the SATA unit and the additional Hard disk for dual booting, and you will still have to switch the HDs if you want a quick boot switch. Really, not worth it. It wasnt worth it before from the first time even if did all they promised when they released it first time. 2nd ps3 is still a better solution in the relation quality / price. The e3 plus the sata station plus the additional HD gives you a price close to a brand new ps3.

Actually you are wrong. Whilst there are commercial versions of hacks/mods, there are almost always DIY solutions.

You can JTAG/RGH your console for PENNIES... info out in the public domain. Its usually the DIY solution that comes up first and then the commercial teams produce a solution that functions the same but is a cleaner PCB etc.

In the PS3 "scene" seems the commercial solutions come out first, and then *MAYBE* the DIY solutions follow. There 360 scene is much better for the home user than the ps3 "scene". It is what it is.. I'm greatful whatever the devs release on whichever platform.

I do! At my last job stayed for 30 minutes AFTER closing a couple times a week, meaning it was on my own time. In this time I talked to my employer about problems with his system and how to improve it!

Again it was on my own time, I was not being paid at all for that time let alone over-time!

Unlike so many young people today who have no respect for anything except themselves; who turn up to their jobs and just do the bear minimum and do not care if the business is still there next week; who are out of the door the second the clock hit's 5, meaning they werent actually working for the last 10-20 minutes and so do not deserve to get paid for that time; I actually put effort into my work!

so i actually manage to install the dual boot without use the e3_downgrade.bin and it works like a charm...

i use PS3 NOR = OFW 4.00 and E3 NOR = CFW 3.55 KMEAW

its only more usefull if you cant jtag. seems the same for this E3 only worth while if you want to downgrade a ps3. You can buy a brand new slim for £120.
Pointless if you already have a hackable version use your E3 funds on a new ps3 to play online with.
