RandySavage Vs General Plot - Piracy In A Cage match :p

Ok...emulation would not be possible without piracy.

Err, come again? Our emulator (PCSX2) as well as all PS1 emulators are able to run games directly from the retail disc. No downloading ROM's, etc.. necessary. Get your facts straight before you make statements like this. You and TheGreatOne should get together and go watch some men in tights hugging each other, macho man. Since he's 12, I'm guessing you're 14.

It is simply so SWELL to hear you say that.
I bet you buy everything that you've got, right?
I think there's a mid term, but ok...

As a matter of fact, yes, I do. Every game I own, I've paid for.

Well unfortunately some of us can't afford to buy them all.
We buy the ones we love the most.
Plus 60€ is the average price for a game in Portugal. That's about 70 US dollars.
The VAT in my country has just raised from 21 to 23% this year.
I also buy games whenever I can, but sometimes it's difficult to pay for them.
But I see your point.
Although, with the current status of the scene I can't play the latest releases, so most likely
I will update my console in about 2 months time.
I don't think that if a 4.00 jailbreak comes out (peek and poke), I won't have to stay on 3.55 to apply it.
Besides, when I bought my ps3 I didn't think to jailbreak it until I've heard of the good news.
Again, it's nice to have the money to buy the things we want.

Why does every thread end up being a argument about piracy? And the mods don't close the thread. I would say take it to the lounge.

Just because content exists, doesn't mean you have a right to it. I can't always buy every game I want, but you know what I do? I go without it until I can afford to buy it or when it's not so new anymore and the price goes down.

This one's for RandySavage:

I'll answer your question with a question: Why do most posts for help these days relate to someone wanting to use CFW for downloaded games (as this thread did)?

I agree that is stupid. That is why it should be closed and move on. This is not the spot to start a flaming discussion.

You two should go get a room already.

Glad you can use paint, dumbass.

I have respect for a profession where people put their livelihood on the line, but I don't need to explain anything to you. The fact that you know who both usernames refer to really make your point moot.

I'm sure you've never, EVER pirated anything in your life. If you were so keen on the law you wouldn't hack anything.

and emulation in general wouldn't be possible without pirating. Look at the first emulators. Also, I wonder where you get the BIOS to the emulator? Why am I not allowed to ask that question?

I have to disagree, my friend. emulation is not possible without hacking, not without pirating. but people always fail to understand those term and saying we are pirating instead of hacking.

And as for PSX BIOS, i have managed to dump it by myself. It's not that difficult if you know how.
Also, I'm playing Chrono Trigger on PS3. I dump the ROM using ALMA, it is pirating?
