YES it does i have 2 hdd with 3.0usb and they all work

No idea but I even have 750gb devoted to FAT32 and 250gb for NTFS and I've never had any problems, plug n play USB no need for external power/hub, very fast transfer speeds when using 3.0 mode (I have a laptop that has a 3.0 USB port) and it's very light and looks great.

I've had it for months, totally recommend it. I use it on two different 60gb PS3 models so the only thing I can think of other people saying there's issues aside from the fact they don't know what they're talking about, is maybe they're using it on different PS3 models to mine?

Just get one, you won't regret it and all WD products have years of warranty.
